Welcome to Robosavvy Website.
We are website dedicated to selling,
supporting and promoting Humanoid Robotics as well as robotics teaching and
experimenting.
Our job revolves around two major areas:
Humanoid Robots:
Robobuilder 5710K
Robobuilder is the newest member of robosavvy familly.
It is a full featured humanoid robot with 16 servos/DOF, full duplex daisy
chain serial communication, sound sensor, optional distance sensor (which we
are offering for free with Robobuilder 5710K) and sound output. It also
features an IR remote control and optional bluetooth serial communication.
The 5710K allows the building of a Humanoid (Huno), Dog (Doggy) and
Dinossaur (Dino). With additional servos, you can also built a spider/hexapod.
To this you eed the spider upgrade kit which you will find on our store.
The big brothers of Robobuilder 5710K are the 5720K and the 5730K. The 5720K
has transparent nbody and servos with lights and also features a sound
processor to output sound. The 5730K is a full blown 5710K with more servos
and all the extras available in the Robobuilder range, including bluetooth
communication.
Regarding programming, all Robobuilder models can be programmed using the
easy-to-use software tool (MotionBuilder / Action builder / wCK programmer)
. Alternativelly the robot can be programmed using C.
Also note that among the Robobuilder inovative features is PID motion
control on all servos (it's the only humanoid with this feature) as well as
join-insert assembly which simplifies the building process a lot.
Also note that the robobuilder features a remote control and comes pre
programmed out of the box. You just assemble and use it with the remote.
Bioloid
The Bioloid is one of our best selling humanoids.
It features 20 DOFs, half duplex daisy chain serial communication, distance
sensor in 3 directions (front, left and right) and sound sensor.
It also includes very good programming tools and easy to use software and
has it's very own bus that runs at 100Mhz for communicating with the servos.
The servos can also be controlled directly by the PC bypassing the CM5
atmega128 controller.
It's a very popular robot among enthusiasts and universities doing research.
Robonova
The robonova is a popular humanoid robot with several DOF and very good
programming software.
It also includes a remote control and programming functionallity. However
the robonova is very limited when it comes to doing advanced programming as
it's board features a more limited processor and can't be programed using C.
KHR1 & 2
The KHRs were some of the first humanoids to appear. They look very bear and
they have a typicall functional approach. You see everything are are able to
hack each and every aspect of the robot.
Education
Our second area of actuation is suppling robots for electronics training.
Our most popular products are:
Robobox 3
An advanced robotics platform with several sensors and an atmega micro
controller.
Microcamp
This kit is very popular in schools in Korea for teaching technology and
electronics.
In Europe it is also very sucessfull with technical training schools and
electronics teaching.
It features several sensors as well such as a light sensor, sound sensor,
pressure sensors, etc.
It also features a visual programming software to allow teaching of robotics
concepts using easy-to-use software, abstracting the complexities of a
programming language. This allows students to focus on learning the Robotics
and electronics concepts before moving on to programming the Robots in C.
